In a kilometer saga that accumulates eight films, Fast and furious, it was turning the wheel from its beginning and was installed successfully through stories that fused spectacular action, friendship and team struggle.

This spin-off, Fast and Furious: Hobbs & Shaw, brings only the characters of the title, embodied by the gigantic Dwayne Johnson, an agent of the United States Diplomatic Security Service and the acrobatic Jason Statham, a former military agent British. Despite being on opposing sides, both join forces on a new mission: locate Brixton -Idris Elba-, the villain on duty, a genetically modified soldier who seeks to unleash chaos with a deadly virus.

The film, set in Los Angeles, London and Moscow, among other international stages, proposes vertigo from the beginning when both characters work as a mirror and with a split screen. To them is added Hattie -Vanessa Kirby-, an agent of MI6, and sister of Shaw, who carries the virus in her body.

With characters that go from side to side, a constant in this saga, and two men willing to do everything to recover theirs - without the necessary chemistry -, the proposal shows exaggerated sequences - on the edge of the cliff - that play against several sections. .

The film, which accumulates ineffective dialogues and gags that do not always work, then bets on visual sizzling, persecutions, explosions, the fall from the top of a building and a delirious final scene with a helicopter, but falters on the adrenaline they generated The previous movies. For his part, Brixton seems to have come out of a Marvel movie, with a certain resemblance to Black Panther, and does not finish curdling with the film's approach.

The family side says present throughout history, with a Hobbs who stays in communication with his little daughter and a reunion with his own in Samoa: while Shaw visits his mother -Helen Mirren, in a wasted appearance- in the prison.

The story opens the door at the end, with a little happening hook, to a future mission.
